In a report from the AP on Yahoo News today a Denver Judge denies a mans request to subpoena the Vice President via federal marshal. The man, Steve Howard, was arrested in 2006 by secret service agents after he criticized the Vice President’s war policy saying that his, “[P]olicies in Iraq are disgusting.” Howard filed the lawsuit on the claim that “his constitutional rights [where] violated”. What? Not in America, surely someone like Cheney would appreciate the value of the 1st amendment. This is all just a little reminiscent of another episode in what I am dubbing “The Silence of The Lambs”, remember Andrew Meyer, better known for his catch phrase, “Don’t tase me bro!” Of course we really shouldn’t expect much constitutional respect from Mr. Cheney. It’s just the first amendment, who needs it anyway, he’s already gotten rid of 4,5,6,7 and 8? But I’ll bet he loves number 2. . .*cough*hunting*cough* :)
